The most enchanting time of the year is right around the corner! We’re not talking about the holidays, although who doesn’t love a nice mug of spiked nog? While the holidays are certainly wonderful, for kitchen and bath designers, builders, and industry professionals, the real excitement is found at KBIS—and the 2018 event is kicking off very soon. The country’s largest kitchen and bath trade show is produced in conjunction with the National Kitchen and Bath Association (NKBA) and highlights the latest trends, products and technologies in the industry. For the 5th year in a row, KBIS is co-located with the NAHB International Builders Show as part of Design & Construction Week, making this an event not to be missed.
Element Designs is excited to once again participate at this year’s show. We will use this event to introduce our new virtual showroom to the industry’s leading kitchen and bath designers, builders and industry professionals. Attendees will be able to use our new interactive virtual showroom tool, and see the ways in which it will change and enhance how designers, builders, and homeowners are able to interact with our products.
As the industry evolves and the process by which products are researched and ultimately purchased changes, we strongly believe in the role technology plays in the marketplace. Because homeowners and designers spend more time on the internet today finding and researching materials and products, the virtual showroom has been developed as an interactive tool to help them visualize a space. It combines traditional materials with contemporary aluminum, glass and acrylic products. The initial virtual kitchen is expected to be the first of several virtual rooms, and is a key way we can enrich the customer’s experience when sourcing our products.
Element Designs will also introduce several new aluminum door finishes and insert options at this year’s show. Black brushed, our new metal door frame finish, is a direct reflection of the rich, dramatic tones found in today’s appliances, plumbing fixtures and decorative hardware. We will also unveil our new and updated collection of 3Form architectural resin inserts, which include a variety of exciting new elements ranging from warm metallics to neutral textiles to complement industry design preferences.
Our CEU course, Modern Materials for Contemporary Design, will be featured in the KBIS Voices of the Industry series. Join us for an informative educational seminar on Thursday, January 11 at 9:00am and earn NKBA, NAHB, NARI or AIA credits.
Element Designs is also very proud to be a sponsor in this year’s Professional Builder Show Village. The Show Village features three unique homes filled with cutting edge interior and exterior products, including contemporary aluminum, glass and acrylic doors, and surfacing materials by Element Designs. Located in the outdoor exhibit area accessible from the West Hall, Show Village is a destination that can’t be missed!
KBIS, IBS and Design & Construction week will take place January 9 – 11, 2018 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida. We look forward to seeing you there!
